Commando!

Right now I am going commando! Wig free- get your mind out of the gutter....As soon as I hear the school bus- I'll put the hat back on.

I enjoyed meeting up with Sandy Mace today. She and I taught together years ago in Rochelle. Even tho the weather was sucky- we had a nice walk, good lunch and great talk time. I was glad to get out to walk. My fitness routine has really taken a back seat since this cancer thing came up. Now I need to walk again- as she baked me a raspberry pie..yum.. She and Matt, her husband, grow raspberries in their backyard and Sandy makes- then freezes the pies- then bakes them when she wants to. Lucky me! (however, I will have to share with the boys at home)

Work was good yesterday. A week off from chemo really makes a big difference. Back to reality tomorrow. Once again Linda and I will bring treats and boggle to chemo to make the time pass a little quicker. I see the oncologist tomorrow and Rob is hoping he can get away from work to go. It is hard for him since he works in Hindale and it is at least a 45 min ride.

Sooooo chemo tomorrow for the next 3 Fridays. Quote from a book from Kim:
